Up for bid is a 1996 Buick Roadmaster Limited Estate Wagon with 73k one owner miles. Clean Carfax with no accidents lots of maintenance records both on the history report and lots of paper records from the GM dealer. Collectors Edition like every 96 Roadmaster. No rust, nice paint, and nice undercarriage - lifelong southern Virginia car. Loaded up with power everything. Relatively rare factory wood delete (WB4) in Light Adriatic Blue. But really rare is the blue Limited seats in cloth rather than optional leather. Boasting GMs Corvette inspired multiport injected 5.7L LT1 V8 engine and 4L60E 4 speed automatic transmission, she puts down plenty of power. Heavy duty cooling (oil and trans coolers) with 2.56 open rear end and auto-leveling rear shocks. Delivers consistent 16 in town and 24 highway at 70 mph. Pleasant after 6:30 pm weekdays or any time weekends by appointment. Condition Report ENGINE: Runs on all eight cylinders without smoking, missing or knocking. Engine runs at proper temperature. Newer battery, water pump about 2 years old, radiator about 1 month old, good charging system. Starts easy and runs strong. TRANSMISSION: Performs beautifully. Engages gears quickly and shifts through all forward gears and reverse with good downshift and torque converter performance. Clean fluid (fluid/filter changed at 67k miles) with no burn odors. EXTERIOR: Body: Body is in very nice shape with no rust, no rust repair, or big dents. Has a minor ding on the hood and right left rear door, both pictured. Above average body. Paint: Paint is very nice. No major scratches or fading but one small scratch low on left quarter, and some paint peel at top of plastic trim around rear doors. Though no accident report, right rear quarterpanel has been repainted. Above average. Other: Lower stainless bright trim is very nice with no notable dings except small ones on right rear quarter. Even the front bumper bright trim (which usually has at least a few parking lot dings) is near perfect. Rubber side trim is all there. Windshield has a rock chip as pictured (not in wiper path.) Undercarriage is very nice - solid as youd expect of Richmond VA area - see the pics. Underhood sheet metal, tailgate sill and door jambs have no rust as seen in pics. Aluminum wheels are in good shape all around. INTERIOR: Interior of the car is in very nice shape as youd expect of low miles. The only complaint is some wear on the drivers carpet where the heel rubs when setting the parking brake. Remaining carpet is very nice. Dash has no cracks, seating areas are in great shape, cargo deck carpet in good shape. Headliner is nice - not sagging. Steering wheel is in nice shape. No smoke or pet odors - cigar lighter never used. Nice finer details like window/seat/mirror bezel and drivers door panel are very nice, on/off/res lettering still visible on cruise stalk, leather on steering wheel still shows some grain, center console clean and still has cupholders/coin holder, etc. Very nice interior overall. ELECTRICAL STUFF: All inspection items work (lights, horn, wipers, etc.) ALL power options work reliably, including power windows, power locks, dual power seats with power lumbar and power recliners, hot heat and cold A/C, tilt, cruise, am/fm stereo cassette, power antenna, rear window release, rear wiper, twilight sentinel, auto-levelling, intermittent wipers, and rear defroster. DRIVEABILITY: Drives out beautifully. Steering is tight, alignment is dead on, suspension is tight. Brakes work well with good linings all around. Tires have about 60% tread remaining on a matched set of Goodrich radials. Solid, quiet exhaust with no leaks. Check engine light is not lit (except at start up as it should.) Fan pulley makes a very slight squeak you can hear outside the car but not when driving. No complaints - drive anywhere.
