1999 Dodge Grand Caravan / Braun Entervan Wheelchair Van - LOW MILES Thanks for looking at our auction - we are an estate sale company based in Fairfield County, CT, occasionally we get cars from estates & charity auctions, we are always looking for the "good ones" . . . .when we do we post them on eBay . . . . this is a 1999 Dodge Grand Caravan / Braun Entervan Wheelchair Van that has had only ONE ELDERLY OWNER ! ! . . . .with very low mileage of 83,675 original miles, if you are in the market you know how expensive these vans are both new and preowned. This very same model 1999 Braun Entervan on eBay right now, for $9,990 . . .it has 121k . . its the SAME as mine. . . .except theirs has almost 40k more miles AND they want almost 10k for it . . . . . THESE ARE VERY EXPENSIVE VEHICLES . . . . The Braun wheelchair ramp works perfectly smooth, no squeaking, straining or scraping, has controls are below radio and another set of switches are next to the sliding door (ramp is on passenger side), it a "power retractable"ramp, not a wheelchair lift, and it has an "emergency lever" to retract ramp if power was lost. it has a very low floor (made of stainless steel) making wheeling in and out very easy, there is a container of wheelchair tie down straps and a VHS video tape from Braun / Entervan on how to operate everything. there is a "lock" on the floor where passenger seat was, not sure how to use it, seems to work fine, when you push lever on this floor lock a chime activates on the dash. again I'm not sure how any of this works. but seems to be all there. it also has all the original Dodge owners manuals and booklets the van came with. When you activate the switch the passenger sliding door automatically slides open, then the ramp smoothly unfolds, and lowers into place, very smooth,very nice. the drivers seat does come out, and can be put in passenger position, so there is some flexibility. ATTENTION FLEA MARKET VENDORS & MOTORCYCLE OWNERS ! ! ! I have seen these Caravans used by flea market, and craft show vendors, because of the dropped floor you can fit SO much more than a regular Caravan, plus the ramp helps and I've also seen them used to transport motorcycles, lawn equipment, etc . . . (ramp,dropped floor and removable seats make is possible) Perfect CarFax report. . . . everything is nice and clean, door panels, seats, carpets, wheelchair area, dark green exterior paint is nice with great deep shine, the previous owner had the two "lower door valances on passenger and driver doors removed because they interfered with getting in and out on the van (see photos), the exterior is that nice dark forest green w/gray cloth interior . . . .it runs and drives 100% LIKE A BRAND NEW CAR . . . . . . it has a PERFECT CarFax report (we can email it to you if you like) Transmission shifts perfectly . . . . .the engine runs excellent (starts instantly and runs smooth and maintains proper temperature) . . . . . . .it has a BRAND NEW Exide battery and BRAND NEW brakes and rotors (front) rears were fine they just needed adjusting . . both were installed this week 4/31/15, our tech mentioned that all the brake lines were replaced at some point and appear to be stainless steel . . . . and we just had oil and filter changed and we also had our tech safety check / add all fluids (if needed), wipers, tire pressure, etc. . . . SO IF YOU PLAN ON DRIVING IT HOME. . . .ITS READY FOR A NICE LONG TRIP. . . . .this 3.3 engine was the best Chrysler ever made it will go 250k + miles . . .the tires are fine with plenty of tread 80%-85% . . . engine compartment is very clean . . its been parked in my garage for a few days or so. . .absolutely no leaks or drips on floor. . . . . appears to have NEVER been smoked in (lighter and ashtray unused) . . . naturally there are the usual small dings, scrapes and flaws. . .but overall VERY minor, headliner slightly as is . . . . .as you can see from the photos the paint and the interior are very nice. . . . it features the 3.3 litre 6-cylinder engine, automatic transmission - a/c (blows ice cold) - power steering - power brakes - airbag - tilt wheel - am-fm-cassette - power rear side windows - anti-lock brakes - spare tire w/cover - all the handicap warning stickers are still in place on the sliding door, I looked on eBay these vans (similar age range and mileage) sell for $5500+--$8500+ . . . . .this Braun Entervan starts at just $950 and sold NO RESERVE. It has a clear ORIGINAL 1999 Connecticut title and bill of sale . . .this van was donated to the Purple Heart Charity and we bought it from them at auction . . .OVERALL this is a great van . . . . . and if you need it . . . an amazing find. . . .Thank You!!
