The Nicest Suzuki 1400 Intruder In The U.S.A. This one owner 1987 Suzuki 1400 Intruder, literally can not be told from new. It has gone a total of 14,631 miles in its 28 yr life, which figures out to an average of 522 miles a year. This was the very first year for the 1400 Intruder & as confirmed on the internet forums,was also the fastest & best designed. I am the original owner of this bike from day one & it has been meticulously maintained since new. The pictures truly do not do it justice. I added a chrome drive shaft cover, a chrome battery box cover, new handle grips & an after market exhaust, but other than that, the only other things that have been replaced are, tires & batteries. It currently has a brand new battery in it & the original stock exhaust system is boxed up & will go with the bike. This bike is not only very strong & fast, but incredibly comfortable to ride. The maroon paint is absolutely excellent, as is all of the chrome. To this day, there are very few of the big inch V-Twins, that will stay with this bike. Whoever buys it, will automatically own the nicest example of this model to be found anywhere. Inspections are not only welcome, but highly encouraged.
