Up for sale with NO RESERVE is my 1998 Lexus SC400. I have owned the car for 4 years and have meticulously maintained it while I have owned it. The car runs, looks, and drives great. The engine runs very strong and the transmission shifts like butter. The brakes stop on a dime. While I have owned it, the below has been done to it: Timing belt and water pump replaced at 140539 miles Radiator replaced at 144918 miles Power steering pump, alternator and new power steering hoses at 138925 miles New brake pads, slotted rotors and stainless steel brake lines at 124655 miles New transmission mount at 145064 miles New VVT solenoids at 165737 miles Hood struts replaced at 145058 miles 2 new rear tires at 166217 miles (all tires Kumho Ecsta 4X with around 80% tread left) New Interstate battery in 2013 Spark plugs replaced at 124325 miles Replaced stock rearview mirror with Gentex Compass/Temp/Autodim mirror K&N Air Filter with BFI Airbox mod Oil changes at every 5000 miles with Mobil 1 Synthetic All features in the car work. No leaks. The stock radio was replaced by a Pioneer touchscreen head with SiriusXM and Bluetooth and backed up by an Epicenter Subwoofer Amp. There are a few small scratches in the paint but overall the paint is in good shape for a 17 year old car. There are a couple of nicks in the windshield caused by small rocks but no large cracks. Occasionally, it will throw a PO420 code (catalyst efficiency below threshold) (Check Engine Light) but is not a major issue unless your state has emission testing. Drive-ability is not affected. There are two master keys with remote heads but one of the key heads has cracked and is broken. The remote still works. This car has been my daily driver for the 4 years I have owned it. It has been garage kept and has not been smoked in. The interior is is very good shape considering the age of the car. The winning bidder must send a 500.00 deposit within 24 hours of the auction closing (PayPal Preferred). Acceptable payment is cashiers check or cash. Buyer is responsible for pick up or shipping.
