HONDA MB50 or MB5 MOTORCYCLE is a 50cc, 5 speed motorcycle that was imported into the U.S. only in 1982. It is, by definition, not a moped, but fits moped culture due to its small displacement, two cycle engine. It was very popular in Europe from 1979 to 1981. Unlike many mopeds, it features a speedometer, tachometer, front disc brake and Honda's Comstar 18" wheels. Its dry weight is 174 lbs. Kick start. This bike is in remarkable original condition. Upholstered seat is in near perfect condition. Tires and brakes are in good condition. All dash lights work. Headlight (high beam only) works. Turn signals, horn, brake and tail light work. Original tool kit is still in the tool box. It consistently starts from cold on the second kick, the first kick when warm. The engine oil pump does not work. I pre-mix the fuel and oil but pumps are frequently offered on ebay if you want one. This is a fun bike to ride and gets a lot of attention as a rare, vintage machine.
