Up for auction is a 1987 Suzuki RM 250. In good condition. Runs excellent with lots of power. There were 2 types of engines for this year, a model G and H, this is a model H. There has been a lot of things done to it be me. Brand new top end Wiseco piston kit(cylinder cleaned and honed) with less than 1 hour riding time. Starts after a few kicks on choke and after 1 kick when warmed. Other brand new added parts = grips, off button, clutch cable, 2 chain rollers, swing arm decals, black decals on number plates, air filter(oiled), oil, antifreeze, and spark plug. The rear shock has a brand new shock seal, bumper, fluid, and freshly charged. Brand new CDI box, coil, and wiring going from the stator on up has been added, and also has a Roost Boost connected to the ignition for added power. This bike was put together by someone else so has some parts on it from different years, 1989 front, rear, and side number plates, 1988-92 KX 250 real shock(although spring is from a RM250), 1992 seat(small pins holes on the rear right side no major rips), and 1986 radiator shrouds. The frame, engine, front forks(boots are in good condition no rips), and rear swing arm are 1987. The tires are in good condition but there is a small crack as you see in the picture on the rear tire although you can still ride it. The muffler has been freshly packed and I have repainted the exhaust pipe. I have added the proper main jet to it so it runs just right there will be an extra smaller main jet included as well. The reeds are in very good condition also. All bearings on the suspension and wheels are solid. Brake pads are in good condition as well. Paint on the top head and crankcase are in good condition, just the side covers have chipped paint, and the top head cover was replaced at one time and never painted. I will throw in the manual that I bought brand new in this auction that is in very good condition. There is no title. Box bike is on is not included.
