I hate to have to do this but it's time for me to let go of old yeller :( I have had one heck of a time with this truck and have learned so much from working on it. It is such a beast and is so much fun to drive and go offroading. I wasn't planning on ever selling this and wanted to do a full restoration eventually and was working on turning it into my daily driver until I got into an accident. I was driving down the road luckily not on the highway and my axle shaft all of the sudden falls off with my wheel connected so I crash down on to one side and start scraping against the ground. What happened was the axle carrier pin broke and basically made my whole diff blow up and seized the diff causing my driveshaft to snap and I just don't have the time or money anymore to fix it. Anyway enough of my sob story lets get into the details. This is one of the cleanest original Blazers you'll find with very little rust for its age and most of the body panels are pretty straight. The biggest area of rust is right above the windshield on the inside. I covered it up with duct tape to prevent rust flakes from hitting me in the face. Other than that most other rust areas have already had patchwork and bodywork done to them so this would be a great candidate for a full restoration. The original paint color was yellow but most of it was just rattle canned in black which is starting to flake but it wouldn't take much work to get it ready for a good paint job. I am technically only the 2nd owner of this truck and it is pretty hard to find one this original. It's all marching numbers so it has the original motor, tranny, and t case from the factory and only has 82,101 original miles. It has a 350 small block, 4 speed manual, 6 inch lift, 35 inch tires on 15 inch rims, fully removable top, roll bar and even has the original stereo. It says on the glove box that it's a CST which is the highest trim level of Blazers but I don't know if that's accurate or not. Runs and drives and didn't have any leaks but it will need a new axle and driveshaft to get it drivable again. It will need to be taken home on a trailer but it can be driven on and off of it. Since I have bought it I have replaced the carb, replaced the rear brake lines, swapped in a new axle, new u joint, overhauled the drum brakes, replaced all the mirrors, new wipers, new turn signal switch, new headlight switch, new high beam switch,wired up the headlights and reverse lights, bench seat and seat belts, and put on new tires and wheels. I got it all registered with plates but it needs the bumper installed and turn signals and brake lights wired up before its legitimately street legal. I have all the parts to do that but I don't have the time to put them on. I also have skid plates for the axles and the engine, a rear bench seat, center console, spare 12 bolt axle and a bunch of other parts that will come included.
