EXTERIOR: The exterior of this Beetle is in good overall shape, no visible rust inside or outside - the car has been garage daily. The body looks straight, the paint is bright and looks good overall, the exterior shows a few dings & scratches. No cracks or chips in the windshield/windows, the right side driver window cranks hard. The soft top is in good condition with a tight fit and does not leak, it has a repaired scratch under the back window. The body chrome is in good shape, the fenders have a few blisters that are consistent with age and use on a 1978 car. INTERIOR: The interior of this Volkswagen is in overall good shape. The upholstery looks good overall, the front seats have a few tears on the front panels. The floors are in good shape no rust in the floor pan and all vinyl liners are in good shape. The headliner is nicely white, air blows cold and the heat works well, the radio works with great sound and all instruments are in working order. MECHANICS: We use car in the spring/summer months every year. This car starts right up, idles fine and has good power and acceleration, it drives straight abd has a good solid feel on the road.
