Vehicle Detail
If your looking for a nice classic car at a reasonable price. your in luck because this is a very good solid classic car (never driven in snow = Zero Rust). It has been regularly maintained with Mobil 1 synthetic oil and used only ethanol free gasoline from the time it was new - it runs great, does not burn or leak oil and gets up to 28 miles per gallon on the road. I am the third owner and had it for the last 14 years. It has recently been prepared for a road trip - to include brakes rebuilt as well as all the fluids renewed, new battery, and new door seals. The BFG tires are also in good condition.A remote theft determent will be included as well as a remote for the CD player and an adapter for a MP3 player or cell phone, etcI have almost all of the maintenance documents from the time it was first purchased as well the original window sticker, build sheet, owners manual and Buick dealers show room brochure. The good thing about classic cars is that the NADA Book value escalates versus other cars depreciating every day, so the longer you keep this car the more it will be worth. It very close to original except:Flowmaster 70 style mufflerPolyurethane sway bar bushingsStrut tower bracePioneer 4 way speakers - 2 each in rear shelfKicker speakers in door panelsJVC CD Player installed in trunkFiberglass OEM style rear spoilerIf you plan on restoring a nice classic car this may be the one for you. However, this Buick is 28 years old so it will need a few items to be show worthy such as paint and the ac fixed. You could repaint it if you wish and you will be able to determine the quality of the paint job and also if you replace the AC compressor you will know that it is new with warranty. A few minor items that will need attention - one part of the windshield molding being straightened or replaced, the passenger window just recently has only rolled up and down a few inches and the drivers seat has been patched on the lower left side above the seat adjustment controls, the passenger door arm rest will need to be refastened and the plastic portion below the arm rest needs to be either replaced or the crack sanded and painted. Everything else works as it should. The ac was cooling but made a noisy bearing sound so I rerouted a shorter belt to eliminate the compressor. The top paint on the car was fading so I painted it satin black as a temporary measure.
