THE 8.0L-V10 ENGINE RUNS VERY GOOD. HOWEVER, THE ENGINE WILL QUICKLY GET UP TO MAXIMUM WATER TEMPERATURE, SO WE DO NOT RECOMMEND DRIVING THE CAR BACK TO YOUR HOME SHOULD YOU WIN THE AUCTION. WE RECOMMEND TRANSPORTING THE VEHICLE. IN SPITE OF THE HIGH-TEMP ISSUE, THE ENGINE HAS HUGE POWER & TORQUE WITH NECK SNAPPING ACCELERATION! THE 6-SPEED MANUAL TRANSMISSION WORKS VERY GOOD AND THIS CAR IS A BLAST TO DRIVE!
THE ALLOY WHEELS LOOK GOOD OVERALL, BUT DO HAVE SOME CURB DAMAGE ON THE OUTER EDGES AND THEY NEED TO POLISHED. THE TIRES HAVE ABOUT 70-80% TREAD LEFT.
THE SILVER PAINT IS IN ROUGH CONDITION. THE CAR NEEDS TO BE REPAINTED. THE BODY ITSELF IS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION. THE PAINT HAS SOME CLEAR COAT PEELING AND FADING IN SPOTS. THE HOOD, FRONT/REAR BUMPERS, AND A SPOT BETWEEN THE TRUNK AND THE REAR WINDOW ALL HAVE LARGE AREAS OF PAINT WITH CHIPPING AND PEELING ISSUES (SEE PICS BELOW).
INSIDE, THIS VIPER LOOKS PRETTY GOOD. THE SEATS HAVE SOME MINOR DYE WEAR AND CREASING, BUT OVERALL LOOK GOOD. THE CENTER CONSOLE, DASH, CARPET, GAUGES, ETC., ALL LOOK GOOD. THE REMOVEABLE ROOF'S HEADLINER IS WORN AND HANGING LOOSE. THE OUTSIDE OF THE ROOF PANEL HAS HOLES IN THE CANVAS FABRIC, SO THIS CAR IS NOT WATERTIGHT.
THIS VIPER IS EQUIPPED WITH LEATHER SEATS, JL AUDIO, ALPINE RADIO, LEATHER STEERING WHEEL, 18" ALLOY WHEELS, NEARLY NEW TIRES, AND MORE!
THE CONVERTIBLE SOFT TOP IS DIFFICULT TO UNLATCH.
ELECTRONICALLY, THIS CAR IS IN GOOD CONDITION OVERALL. THE RADIO AMPLIFIER IS DISCONNECTED, SO THERE IS NO SOUND FROM THE STEREO. THE ALPINE HEAD UNIT DOES TURN ON THOUGH. ALL THE OTHER POWER FEATURES AND OPTIONS WORK GOOD.
THE CAR HAS A CURRENT VA STATE INSPECTION (EXPIRES 8/15), BUT WILL NOT PASS AGAIN DUE TO BAD RIGHT/LEFT FRONT TIE RODS. NON-VIRGINIA RESIDENT WINNING BIDDERS WILL GET THE CAR WITH THE CURRENT INSPECTION, BUT VA RESIDENTS WILL GET IT WITH A "REJECTION" STICKER.
