You are bidding on a 1970 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia. This classic coupe runs, starts, drives, and brakes great. Get in it and go for a cruise! Nice black interior with original headliner showing a tear or 2. Custom wooden steering wheel and center console. The wood look dash veneer needs to be replaced and a replacement will be included with the sale. The engine compartment is filled with triple plated chrome. Even the original Knecht air filter housing was triple chrome plated. The single Solex carburetor has been recently replaced, amongst several other items shown in the attached service receipts. Chrome Porsche 356 style slotted wheels with good rubber. Lots of recent work done, see receipts in photo link below! Even has the original owner's manual! I believe this car was originally Amber orange, and has had a mediocre respray over the original paint. The paint isn't perfect but is a great looker. Some minor overspray and edge flaking (revealing the original orange paint underneath). The front nose appears to never have been hit as shown from the pictures on the inside. The spare tire compartment is very nice as well! There is some slight metal perforation showing within the wheel well edges. The floor pans are undercoated with some metal perforation showing primarily on the passenger side rear. This car is very solid, especially for an East Coast car, but is certainly not 100% perfect.
