This is a 1965 Ford Galaxie with a 460 (V8), 4 barrel, automatic transmission, 2 door, with a **LOW Reserve**! The 460 is out of a 1971 Lincoln Mark IV and has factory 365 Horsepower, the engine was rebuilt and now has an Erson Cam (has a great BEAST idle [cam part number is E260421]), has flat top pistons with 10:1 compression, and has Comp Cams roller rockers (part number 1630-16), currently has a 9" posi rear end with (the current gears that are like 2:73 or something [highway gears]). The paint is great from 15 feet away, looks super on the road, but will need to be done by a pro to make this car 100%. This thing sounds very intimidating, the lobing cam, the loud exhaust, and the clean sleek appearance, this is a fun car to drive. It has manual breaks, manual steering, no AC, it is a base model Fast Back. The windshield is cracked Interior is pretty rough Paint has a nice shine but is a 15 footer Tires are worn The only noted rust is just a small amount on the band in the interior of the trunk pan (see Photobucket link) The AM radio does not work Runs strong! Fast! Had 365 hp before the Shaved Heads, Roller Rockers, and new Cam (the previous owner said the guy who built the motor estimated over 425hp) Posi rear end with 2:73 gears (or so) I am also including an addition 9" pumpkin with a 4:11 posi minispool I have the reserve set low. This will be a great summer project! but, you can drive it as it is and work on it as you go.
