Vehicle Detail

1970 Dodge Dart Swinger NO MOTOR OR TRANSMISSION – ROLLING BODY ONLY I bought this car a couple of years ago as a project car for my 3 year old son. We have decided to go with a different project so we are letting this go. I have collected several spare parts for this car including NOS items that I would be willing to sell to the buyer at a cheap price, but they are not included with the sale of the car. Car has a lot of potential, but does have several spots of rust on the outer body that in my opinion could be fixed with patches, but I planned on replacing all bolt-on panels. There is one rust hole on the frame by the torsion bar on passenger side. I have a close-up picture of it. Car was a factory 225 Slant 6. This car has had some amateur body work done in the past, there is some bondo in it, and they actually cut out some of the metal on the lower quarters. It looks like it is ready for a patch. Good All wiring is intact Cross member is still bolted up Factory Air conditioning. Instrument Cluster is excellent Dash Pad is a Dash Cap excellent Rally wheels (4in bolt pattern) are in excellent condition – paint or might be powder coated is great. Front Grill is super nice (nicer than one I have in another car that I restored) Front Bumper is in excellent shape except for the rubber bumpettes I have the factory air compressor lines and the condenser is still attached Car had new leaf springs when I bought it – you can still see paint on them Vinyl roof Chrome is all still attached Trunk pan is excellent Original Jack is in original spot and in excellent condition (Rare find) Door panels are in great shape Back seat is excellent Bad Floor pans have some small rust holes (in my opinion they could be patched with some metal) All body panels have some rust but might be able to be fixed without full quarters Front fenders need replaced Hood needs replaced Rust hole in torsion bar area in the subframe Front seat was missing (I replaced it with a swap meet find, but it needs recovered) Spot under vinyl top that looks to me like a factory mess-up. I cut out that section of the vinyl top out to see what it looked like. I have a ton more pictures if anyone is interested I can email them. This car is definitely a salvageable car, especially for someone who knows how to weld. The car is for sale locally, so bid to win. Buyers with zero or negative feedback must contact me before bidding. I require a $200 Non-Refundable deposit within 48 hours of the end of auction with the balance due within 7 days. Car should be picked up within 7 days unless other arrangements are made. I am relisting this car because the winning bidder backed out of the deal, so please only bid on this car if you a serious buyer. Thanks.
