ford coupe project. ("CLEAR matching Wisconsin title!" VIN number matches frame.) - NO Engine or transmission. this car will need Everything to be road worthy again. the car has sat engineless for 30+ years. nice solid body. nice fenders, doors, hood, small dents in trunk lid. dents in roof where someone was up on the roof at one time. nice solid inside floor. some rust in trunk floor where it held water (see pics.) -- very solid where rear fenders bolt on. some holes in rockers. overall its a good saveable car. nice original front and rear axles. nice clean frame with the exception of 2 holes that were cut into front crossmember. -- (the flathead V8 and 3 speed trans were removed at one time the then owners had dreams of installing a different engine and cut 2 holes into front crossmember and that's as far as they got. the car sat in the barn 15? years then was pushed out behind the barn where it sat another 15+ years.) original front and rear seats included, mostly rags. nice frames and springs. nice dash and the gauges are still pretty nice. nice original steering column with key. No tail lights, and panel between rear bumper and body are missing along with trunk handle and trunk lid chrome. the glass in the car looks good in these pics but all glass is bad with the exception of the rear window and there is another nice rear glass also included. windshields aren't cracked some fogging in lowers. - the side glass is fogged, cracked and BB-gunned. the car rolls and steers easily. parts pictured also go with the car. --- the car is located in Rochester Minnesota. 55904 PLEASE CALL me with any questions. 507 316-1955 On Mar-05-15 at 08:34:20 PST, seller added the following information: I added a picture of the title that came with the car, and has been with the car for many years. I also added a pic of the frame with part of the vin showing. "ALL THE FRAME NUMBERS DO MATCH THE VIN NUMBER ON THE TITLE! Yes it does look like a 1946 ford. the dash, the trim, the grill, turn signals, crank out wing windows, even the front seat all seem to be 1946. im selling it as a 1948 ford as that is what the title says and that matches the frame.
