This is a rare car. 1974 Pontiac Firebird Esprit, #'s matching engine with only 51,458 original miles. This car is akin to a "barn find." It was a 2 owner car when I purchased it (both owners had it about 20 years) and rarely driven. It has always been adult owned and driven. The car is pretty close to being COMPLETELY ORIGINAL!!! What makes this car so rare is the model (look up these Firebirds online and you may not find any available), the very low original mileage and the fact that the car is in good shape for being completely original. But, IT IS NOT A RESTORED CAR. There IS SOME RUST on the quarters that will require repair. All buttons, knobs, etc are fully functional including the power windows. The drivers side has a repairable split in it (see the pics) and one of the sail panels needs replaced but other than that, the interior is in good shape (original interior, not restored).The engine and transmission run great. I REBUILT the HEI distributor, carburetor and front and rear brakes including new rear brake lines, and new master cylinder. The exhaust system is in great shape. I also completed general maintenance including replacing the spark plugs, air filter, oil change, etc.New tires as well.The body is pretty straight, the floor pans, torque boxes, trunk, etc are all in good shape. There is rust that will need to be repaired on the quarter panels and lower passenger fender. But that rust is really the only major item to do to have a rare original car!!!This car can be driven around as is, or could be a fairly easy cosmetic restoration.
