I have for Sale my 1978 Chevy 4X4 short bed pickup. I have had the truck since 2011. I bought it from the original owner. The 73000 miles is actual miles on the truck. It came from the north east and was a rust bucket when I got it. I was not surprised I was very familiar with these Trucks. I have replaced complete brake system and complete fuel system all hard and soft lines. complete tune up including valve cover gaskets witch confirmed it was a low mileage motor it was super clean and runs great. I also put new wheels and tires shocks removed rusty bed and replaced with wood flat bed. I probably put about 1000 miles on it since I have owned it. I also change all the fluids in trans both rears with synthetic gear lube and trans fluid. I change the oil yearly because I don't drive it much. My intentions with this truck was to replace the floors inner and outer rockers and body mounts and keep it for ever but I came across a rust free cab and front clip and that would be part of this sale. I was also going to take the Dana 60 Diff. out of the donor truck and put it under my truck. I have all the receipts from all the parts I purchased. I put pictures of both trucks in this add and can send more if you like. I also purchased the new floors rockers cab corner and body mounts already which also will be included in the deal. This truck runs great it has historic tags and I use it to go to Home Depot and dump runs. I really love this old truck but came to the realization that I will never have the time to finish it so I decided to let it go to someone who has the time. The truck is totally drivable and safe just has rust holes in the floors.( PLEASE DO NOT BID ON THIS IF YOU DON'T HAVE THE MONEY. I'M NOT PARTING IT OUT IT ALL GOES AS A PACKAGE.
