Vehicle Detail

0 false 18 pt 18 pt 0 0 false false false BEING SOLD AT NO RESERVE HIGHEST BIDDER WILL TAKE THIS GORGEOUS C2 CORVETTE HOME, THERE ARE OVER 110 PICTURES OF THIS BEAUTY IF YOU DO NOT SEE THEM ALL SCROLL DOWN IN THE LITTLE BOX, THANKS! Here is the beauty you have been waiting on, a gorgeous 1966 Corvette with only 72000 actual miles. The mileage is documented on the clear Florida title. This C2 has been ground up restored and is ready for some cruising. To start off the paint and body were completely stripped down to the bare fiberglass and coated with feather fill primer. 5 Coats of base coat were then laid down; I have the paint codes and then cleared over. The car shines extremely well, no waves, no cracks, it is a very nice paint job, not perfect but very nice. The big block stinger hood was added to improve the appearance of the car and it really sets it apart at the shows. Most of the exterior was replaced at the time of restoration including but not limited to the front and rear bumpers which were all replaced with new, new emblems were installed, all the lenses and bezels were replaced with new. Brand new Torq Thrust II 18” Wheels were installed with brand new tires, the wheels and tires literally have 1 mile on them. Headlights all work as they should and go up and down with ease. Minor lips were added to the fender wells to accommodate the 18” wheels and it looks amazing, car gets compliments wherever you take it. The Interior was almost completely restored as well, new door panels, new seats, new dash pad on the passenger side, driver side dash pad is still in great shape, new grab handle bezel, new carpet, new headliner, new headliner trim and quarter trim panels, new weather stripping, new sill plates, new center arm rest and new seat belts. All the gauges work as they should including the speedometer, tach, amp, oil press, temp, gas, dash lights, etc. The factory clock will work from time to time if you mess with it. The radio is inop and is aftermarket. All the glass is in great shape and is original; the windshield has some light scratching from the wipers I couldn’t pick it up on the camera, as they are very faint. Headlights as mentioned earlier go up and down as they should without any problems. The entire wiper system was just gone through and replaced with all new parts and they work flawlessly, although car has never been driven in the rain. The engine is a brand new rebuilt nom 327/350 horse with about 2 miles on it, yes 2 miles. Few goodies were installed edelbrock performer rpm intake, mild cam, still has the points distributor with tach drive, Felpro gaskets were used throughout, just had a brand new starter installed as well. Runs like a new engine should no smoke, no funny sounds, just pure 1960's power. New exhaust was just installed with all new gaskets has a nice rumble but not too loud. New tach cable was just installed so the tach is spot on. All the cooling was gone through recently and it never runs above 180. Engine compartment is nicely detailed for the shows. Just had the car aligned and it goes straight as an arrow and drives very nice with plenty of power. Transmission was recently gone through and is the original 4-Speed Muncie M-21 with a Hurst Shifter. ACE racing clutch was installed for durability, and it shifts excellent. Trans goes through all the gears fine, doesn't make any funny sounds. Rear was redone as well and is original with the 3.55 gears with a posi unit. Most of the braking system was replaced and car stops very well. All the calipers, pads, etc. were just redone. Most of the suspension was redone as well, car handles and rides very well, better than most of the C2's I have owned. Underneath is super solid no rust at all. All the frame, floor boards, etc. are like new. Overall I would say this Corvette is ready for some enjoyment. It has been almost completely restored and shows extremely well. It runs down the road great and with the fresh 327 it will bring many years of trouble free enjoyment. This Corvette was built to drive, it rides very nice I would not be afraid to put my wife in it, the exhaust is very quiet, engine isn’t radical, all the lights work as they should. Car looks great going down the road and holds its own at any show. Plenty of thumbs up wherever you take this baby and be ready for some gas station conversations, want to make your neighbor jealous park this Stingray in the driveway. I can go on for hours about this Vette but I will let the 110 pictures do the talking from here. Call Frank at 863-381-3499 if you have any questions or want to set up an appointment to come look at the car in person. Inspections welcome as car is as advertised and will not disappoint, all inspections must be scheduled before auction ends. Sold AS-IS with no warranties expressed or implied, please do not bid unless you intend to buy have the funds in order before hand, I have a clear Florida Title. Cleared payment due within 7 days of auction ending unless previous arrangements have been made.
