You are bidding on a classic! 1970 California convertible beetle. This car turns heads everywhere it goes! It runs perfectly, mostly due to high maintenance standards and a freshly rebuilt engine and transmission (by a VW only shop). Can you spell F-U-N? This is it. Is it perfect? No, it's 45 years old. Does it have any mechanical issues? None that I am aware of. Drives great, looks great, sounds great! The car was originally an orange-red painter over with a seafoam green color with a brown interior. Is the paint perfect? No. Is it oxidized and faded and really yucky? No to that as well. Trim and interior? the trim is shiny but not perfect. The rubber is all there. The interior looks fine - no tears or wear spots. This car reflects the condition of a daily driver that has been loved and garaged its entire life.you will not be disappointed in this amazing car. So then, why are we selling it? Simple, we just haven't driven it that much. I guess it is time to move on. Plus, why pay registration and insurance on something we no longer use much.
