Original (unmodified, not a hot rod, etc.) 1949 Ford F-2 Stake Body Truck. 62,713 miles believed to be original. Truck is complete but needs restoration. Stored in dry garage for past 10 years. Engine turns freely. Four tires hold air but tread does not match. Hubcabs all dented. Typical rust out at running boards, cab corners, and lower fender sections. Windshield and some side window glass needs replaced. Fuel tank rusted through and needs replaced. Brake system needs complete replacement. Front bumper bent and front sheetmetal rusted. Stake body is of period vintage but does not appear to be original Ford product; truck may have been sold new as cab/chassis only. Spare tire and rim missing. Stake wood needs replaced; floor decking may be salvageable as does not appear to be rotten through in any areas. Price includes carburetor rebuild kit and tune-up kit (plugs, wires, rotor) new in unopened packages. Buyer responsible for shipping from Hanover, PA (ZIP 17331).
