Transmission shifts smooth and replaced with a new one in March 2012 at 174,00 miles at Wallace Volkswagen Vero Beach to include timing belt, water pump, puller, Geared Balance Shaft Retrofit and radiator hoses and accessories belts.  Talking About Peace of Mind: In May 7th 2014 at 202,000: Installed new geared balance shaft, brand new turbo kit, intake and manifold gaskets, oil feed line, shut down valve, intercooler, N75 valve, vacuum hoses, new battery and timing belt were replaced with new one at Gunther Volkswagen of Pompano Beach, Florida by a Master Mechanic who drives an immaculate 2005 VW Passat Sedan. Total repair bill was $3,300 to include 12 months warranty on parts and labor in any Volkswagen dealership in 50 states of US of America. The interior & exterior of this car are well maintained. It was not smoked in, no wear in any of the seats. The Passenger and rear seats look brand new. The exterior paint looks great, no dings or dents and normal wear and tear for an 8 years old car. The car has HID and projector beams, trailer hidden hitch to (Carry Bicycle) All power options are in working order to include emergency tool kit and unused OEM spare tire. Air, interior, diesel fuel and oil filter has been replaced recently on December 2014. January 4th, 2015, I just replaced all 12 front suspension arms, links and rubbers on both sides with Lemforder to include all suspension bellow and bump stops with new one. Janury 15th, 2015, installed brand new headliner. January 21, 2015 replaced both side CV Axle Joints with a brand new one.
