Up for auction is this unique little Ford Olson Kurbmaster Junior alum step van. You always see the bigger ones but very rarely do you see the Jrs. This originally belonged to the Boston Fire Dept.Prior owner started stripping the paint and respray it for his Co but never materialized. It was licensed and registered and on the road until 2007. He was driving it home and realized that the hydraulic cylinder for the clutch was going bad so he parked it . It has been off the road since then. The van has the original 300 6 cyl with 4 spd trans. The mileage is actual at 59797 miles . I was told it ran great when parked and was only put up because of the clutch cyl problem. Motor turns over fine. Iam sure with fresh fuel ,a battery and a good tune up it will run fine. Brakes are also down from sitting. I just took this in trade on a nice vintage pu. My intentions were to do the clutch cyl and get it running but just dont have the time . Too many projects filling the garage and all this snow plowing is taking its toll. So here is your chance to take advantage of the situation. The body is in great shape and being alumn you dont have to worry about rust issues. There is a minor scrape dent on the drivers side wheel lip opening . Just needs to be flattened back The inside step well when you open the drivers door has a small repairable rust spot. Other than that everything else is fine. The underside is good and solid . The interior is all intact alum is all in good shape. Someone did install a few shelves which can easily be removed. Seat is in very nice shape. All glass is good . Doors open and close fine but could use a good greasing. Tire size is 750-16. The dimensions of the vehicle are 14 ft 7 inches in length. 6 feet 2 inches wide and 8 feet 3 inches high from the ground to the top of the roof.The vehicle is not that big and can easily be put on a normal car trailer. The possibilities are endless. Would make a great bike hauler , camper, flea market vehicle , let your imagination run wild. I know that the snow is fowling things up for the shippers so we can store the vehicle here while you arrange shipping as long as it is paid for in advance. Will be sold on a dealer bill of sale . If you need a title in your state we will register the vehicle and with that and our dealer transfer paper work you will receive a title. It will be $150 extra should you need this service.
