For sale my 63 bug that i have had for a long time. This project started from a basic garage find body sitting on pan with boxes on parts and interior removed., This car was in amazing condition regardless of age. This has been a full pan off restoration over a period of 6 years. I know and can answer any questions you might have,I built the car. All work was done by me except swingaxle,and front beam. Body and pan completely stripped,floor pans replaced and painted gloss black.Body self etched primer,epoxy primer with base clear coat .Paint and clear coat are Dupont, clear is egg shell we made up from Duponts website. This car is amazing and has about 1k mile since completed. Now for the good stuff. Chassis Front Beam 4" narrowed, adjustable, tie rods and ends new,new link pins,bearings etc.. CB drop spindles, disk brakes,braided lines, new steering box etc.KYB shocks front and rear. Rear end adjustable spring plates, rebuilt drums. Rearend swingaxle, freeway flyer, sway away axles, erco side coler,super diff, welded 3rd&4th gears ,hardened keys, eyeball engineering brace, gene berg midmount, Kennedy stage1 ,daiken disk. Engine Auto Linea Aluminum supercase, Fully balanced 1915. Demello 69 counterweighted full circle crank, reworked stock rods, lightened flywheel, 94mm Mahle pistons and cylinders, grant rings, Heads DRD L5, CB 1.25 super stock ratio rockers,chromoly push. rods, Duel Dellorto 45 on tall cb performance manifolds match ported, Engle w100 cam and lifters, compression ratio 7.25. Great low end for non stroker motor pulls hard 5500 all day, Full stainless merged header and muffler, Gene Berg breather and valve covers, stainless lines with an fittings, CB thinline sump ,remote oil filter stainless lines, Interior Floors and doors Dynamat, seats frames completely redone gloss black, new carpet, full set gages ,everything is original except shifter [ Gene Berg], and grab handle, Seats have new light grey with piping seat covers the ones pictured are slip covers hog ringed under seat, love oldschool my own take, headliner is a blind I got off the back porch. made birch door panels, New wiring harness, full 12 volt,original radio 6v not hooked up, wipers 6v not hooked up ,but have voltage drop for it. Every seal ect..is new on car,, pop out windows, new windshield. Wheels Randar wide 5, Nankang 185 rear,135 front. On Feb-08-15 at 04:45:41 PST, seller added the following information: Don't have kick panels for rear seat, Passender door interior door release just stopped working but can release from exterior. I can provide many more pics if needed just let me know. I have a roof rack original all metal galvanized that will go with the car.
