Vehicle Detail

Hello, I purchased this car from the person that bought it from the original owners wife when her husband passed away. It sat garaged since 1991 untouched. It was a daily driver and spent a lot of time in the city. So that is where all the dents are from.

New plugs, hoses, belt, oil, filter, fuel pump, gas tank, sending unit, Upper control arm bushing, upper ball joints, new lower tubular control arms with new bushings and ball joints and new front coil springs. sway bar links. The new lower control arms are larger than stock at the base and so the bottoms of the brake backing plates had to be ground with a grinder in order to install the new lower control arms. Our next intent was to add disc brake but have not and time and did not but the brake set up. So for now it still has power front drum brakes . ( the new disc brakes conversions are very reasonable now.) New factory style brake lines including all rubber lines as well. All new wheel cylinders and shoes. Car has power drums. New master cylinder. four new shocks. Four new tires.

Inside, new door panels, new dash pad, new under dash pad steel panel welded in. ( there was rust at bottom edge of windshield) New convertible header chrome. New visors, arm rests, arm rest bases. New side mirror with logo. New A/C Brand carpet.( Car does NOT have air conditioning) The seats where recovered 25 years ago in non original covers but are comfortable and have original metal backs.

The heat works, most things work like lights, clock, radio does not. I am sure some other things I am missing do not work. Car has power drums brakes, power steering, speed buzzer I do not know if it works. Front window work fine rear window need a lot of help to open and close correctly. Switch on drivers door does not always turn off the interior lights. Power top did work a few times but the driver side top piston is leaking and motor just runs and runs... so not working now. Power top vinyl has a could splits that where glued with a patch on each side

Car starts and runs real good. The engine does drip oil steady. rear main seal maybe. This is the original engine it has never been out of the car. If you do your home work , in 1967 the last part of vin was not stamped on the engine pad, only on z-28 or SS was the vin stamped. See photo, code is for the 327 275 HP with power glide. This also has a 12 bolt rear and when you hit the gas both tires do spin at once and leaves black twin tire marks so ... posi or limited slip I think 273 ratio.

Floor are real nice the passenger side foot area, a small area was cut out and replaced with a factory style pan. Looks correct. trunk is original and if you look close it looks like a couple small sport in front of shakers had small repairs but looks great. Spare hook is there but no spare tire.

Solid rockers. Car needs body work or most outer body panels replaced. As you can see from the photo.

I have only lot driven the car. There is to much salt to put it on the road yet. after sitting so long it is hard to say if the transmission will last or die and need a rebuild on the first ride out. Years ago , I had a 67 vette that made it 3 miles and the power glide trans left me stranded again after sitting so many years. So I am just telling you up front in case the trans fails on the first ride. Right now goes in gear fine forward and reverse and have driven it around my parking lot.

Great solid car that will make some one that is handy a nice project that with little work could be on the road and drive as you fix it up. Any questions I am glad to help.

Sold in as is condition with No warranty or guarantee expressed or implied. Pickup up will be in Kenvil NJ 07847. Payment will be Cash on pickup or wire transfer to my bank and only after wire has cleared will car be released. No other forms of payment will be accepted. Title will be filled out into new buyers name.

This is not a fire sale if it does not sell now some one will want it sooner or later come summer.

Out of state buyers should send a inspector before buying so that you are happy with your purchase. This is a 1967 and not a new car. It is sold as a project car that needs to be restored.
