1978 DATSUN 280Z COUPE AUTOMATIC I'm selling my 1978 DATUN 280z coupe automatic transmission. It's a rust free California car. The car has clean title under my name and currently insured. I'm the third owner. The Original owner owned the car since new until 2013. the second owner, the neighbor, owned the car just for a month. Too many cars and lack of parking space forced him to sell this vechicle. The car was covered and parked in the garage since 1991. The 1991 registation sticker was still on the license plate when purchased and it will be included with the sale. Interior: The Dashboard looks fresh, has no crack or scratch. Original radio works great. Automatic shift knob has a small crack on the knob. Heater works. A/C is not blowing cold air. I never bother to use it. Original seat has some rips. The Windows are in working order, Slide up and down freely. Carpets are in good condition. All gauges and electrical items work as they should. The clock works accurately. Exterior:There are some small dings on the doors and body panels. I only found 2 small dents on the center valance and the metal piece above the rear bumper. (please view the pictures.)The original paint is faded in some area like on the roof and hood. I was spray painted those area just to make them look more presentable. I had a plan to get a car repainted but decided to sell the car. All the rubber pieces and trims are still soft and in excellent condition.Headlights, tail lights, signal lights are all in working condition.All tires are like new.The Hubcaps are in excellent original condition. The Factory Rear Louvers was repainted with SEM texture paint. Antena doesn't work. Engine and TransmissionThe oil pan gasket was recently replaced.Fuel injection rail and the radiator were recently rebuilt. ** I noticed some coolant drip on the floor but not sure if it s from the hose ***Car brakes and stops like the way it supposts to be.The Transmission need to be adjusted. I sometimes need to shift to N when started the car.The engine is all original and I would recommended the have the machanic recheck the engine after phurchased.The car passed Smog. I drove the car 50 miles back home without any problem when I purchased the car back in 2013. During the period of ownership I usually drive the car locally on the weekend. This is a 37 yrs old car. I tried to describe its condition as accurate and honest and I can. I would keep the car If I can. But I'm getting in to a new business. I need some fund. Buyer is responsible for shipping.
