· Engineer owned, driven and maintained for the past 10 yearsMechanical· 32 Valve engine; valve job performed at 90,000 miles (have receipt)· Automatic Transmission, shifts smoothly and crisply · Major components like torque tube and motor mounts are all in good shape- no issues · 141,000 miles · Major mechanicals in very good condition · Timing Belt/water pump/tensioner service done 1500 miles ago (18 mos), belt has been retensioned, belt warning system is hooked up and functioning · New bearings on all rotating parts (fan motors/alternator/air pump etc) · All accessory belts replaced · Vacuum tubes replaced · Some fuel lines replaced · Spark plug wires/plugs/distributor caps/ rotors replaced (18 mos ago) · Brake work: new master cylinder/pads/ brake lines flushed (18 mos) · Replaced all CV boots · New Steering Rack boots · Older Kumhos, still in good shape · Air Conditioning system was reconditioned 18 mos ago with new high pressure hose, all new O-rings throughout, compressor reconditioned with new shaft seal and O-rings, filter dryer, and fan motor fixed. Converted to R-134a refrigerant. System is tight and works great! Very recent Maryland Emissions Inspection - passed Body: · Body in very nice shape, no dents, no rust, paint not perfect but looks great from about 2 feet on. · Originally came with side molding strips but I hate the look of them and filled in the holes and refinished without them · Windshield replaced, hence antenna now mounted in roof · Front spoiler was split in one area but has been repaired and is in good condition · Doors all close solidly · New door seals, hatch seal and sunroof seals · Sunroof motor works but is weak, I don’t like using sunroof anyway · Tail light housings replaced a few years back in good shape and reflect brightly · Headlights function perfectly, as do the driving lightsInterior· Original Cashmere/Black color scheme, fairly rare I believe. · Fairly new Sliverknit carpeting. Carpet is in very nice shape. Have set of Lloyds mats for front seats as well, included. · Dash and Pod recovered with plastic overlay, not perfect but looks a lot better than a cracked dash or a carpet cover · Seats in pretty good shape for almost 25 year old car; no cracks, driver’s seat bottom replaced 18 mos ago with new leather from Classic 9. · Seat motors all function properly, fore-aft, up-down and recline · Gauges rebuilt some time ago and fully functional . · Headliner has seen better days due to shrinkage but is still presentable, see pics.· Blaupunkt aftermarket CD/radio- Speakers replaced with aftermarket, have originals still though, CD works but radio needs new adapter to connect to antenna. · Windows operate properly, door lock mechanism works but cycles open (needs adjustment) · Rear view mirror motors nonfunctional · Rear wiper and hatch release nonfunctional, due to connector issues · Hatch defroster works but spotty · The door courtesy lights function in addition to the front roof dome light. The hatch light and rear cargo area lights need replacement due to cracking · Most of the tools are still intact in addition to the spare tire and jack. Driving the car, it starts right up, idles well and accelerates beautifully. Exhaust sounds great. Steering is super tight. For the money, I don’t think you can beat the amount of performance and styling in this car. I am selling because I really need a truck and don’t have the space for her. These pictures were taken mid-2014 and I have since replaced this wheel with the original 928 steering wheel. I've added two additional pics showing the original steering wheel that comes with the car. Sorry if this causes any problems. If so, let me know.
