Offered for auction here is our 1958 Oldsmobile Super 88 4-dr hardtop; this is a totally rust-free California car with only 83,000 original miles! The car was repainted a few years ago in Calif. from the original yellow to its current flat-black and green. At that time, the rear door handles were removed and the car was lowered 2”. The motor is the 371 CI 2-barrel V8, with the 4-speed Hydromatic. This car would be considered a mild West-Coast Custom and would be welcomed & appreciated at almost any car show or gathering! While not 100% factory-original, this is a really cool car and is great to drive! We have taken it on many road-trips and have gotten excellent mileage on what is an all-original drivetrain! The interior was all cracked and torn when we got it, so we cleaned it up and installed JC-Whitney seat-covers. The seats were also rebuilt to factory firmness so they don't sag at all and they are very comfortable! We have gone over this car's mechanics to ensure that it is safe and functional in all ways. The brakes have been gone through, the motor was freshened-up, and the chassis has been fully lubricated and inspected. This car was made for the open-road and that's where it belongs! You'd have no problem flying into town and driving this car home! Overall the car is totally rust-free, laser-straight, runs perfectly, and looks awesome.
