Vehicle Detail

This 5 day listing is for a concourse restored 1969 Z 28 Camaro. No clone or tribute car here. This original California Z 28 is rust free and has all the original sheet metal and is straight. Mileage shows 39,105. The Certificate of Authenticity of this Z 28 is documented by Jerry MacNeish of Camaro Hi-Performance, Inc (see photo). Also an appraisal from 2011 of this car by Mr. MacNeish (International Automobile Appraisers Asso # 1007319906) is available upon request. Original numbers matching DZ 302 engine and drive train. Plenty of documentation on this car including build sheet, original California registration and plates. Plenty of photos of the concourse rotisserie restoration. This Z sold 8/20/11 at the Mecum auction in Monterey, Ca. for over $66,000.00 Yes!!! It is just that nice. Following is the auction summary and description. Auction Summary “Complete expertly detailed restoration by Sean McRae. Hugger Orange with black standard interior. February 1969, Los Angeles plant production car. Jerry MacNeish authenticated and certified.” Auction Description “Hugger Orange with black standard interior. Factory options include shoulder restraint seatbelts, head rests, G80 positraction 3.73 ratio, J52 disc brakes, M21 4 speed transmission, U63 AM radio, and Z 28 special engine and equipment package. This vehicle has 1.6 test miles since completion of the highly detailed rotisserie restoration in December 2010. This is a fine museum piece! Jerry MacNeish of Camaro High Performance Inc inspected this vehicle and certified it as an original Los Angeles built Z 28 with its factory installed 302-290 hp V8 engine, Muncie 4 speed transmission and factory 12 bolt rear axle. Be the first to show it, win with it and achieve its deserved concourse status.” In summary, the "buy now" price of this documented original 1969 Z 28 is less than what you can expect to spend on a complete rotisserie restoration of an original numbers matching Z 28-------- If you could find one! A good investment for the discerning collector who wants a documented factory Z 28 that will appreciate in value. Not for one that settles for a second class restoration or clone / tribute car. This Z has traveled a total of 58 miles since restoration. I do not own this Z and am only listing for him. You may give the owner, Keith, a call at 318-393-1502 if you would like to speak to him personally. If no answer please leave a voice mail. Email for additional pics or questions. A non refundable deposit of $1000.00 using Paypal only must be made within 24 hours of auction end. Balance to be paid within 7 days of auction end. Balance to be paid using a bank wire transfer or cash at time of pick up. Transport arrangements and cost are the responsibility of the buyer
