Up for sale/auction is a 1985 Mercedez Benz 500SEL. This car was purchased new in Florida and lived in Florida until two years ago. Since it's been in Vermont, there have been numerous repairs necessary. I'm a college student and cannot afford to keep putting my money into this car. Today it is a 'Project Car'. The car starts and runs fine, just like you would expect a Mercedez to do with low mileage. It's not drive-able right now due to a brake problem. The engine, transmission, and drive train are all good, as are the tires. It just needs a lot of work....brakes, power steering leak, upholstery, exhaust, ball joints, to name the big items. It would make a great parts car, or if you have a parts car already, this car could be put back together.
