Vehicle Detail

1971 Chevrolet C10 I will describe the truck below to the best of my ability and be as thorough as possible disclosing the good the bad and the not as good. I am very honest in my descriptions so please bid with confidence and feel free to call me direct or send me a message with any questions. I want both parties in the transaction to be satisfied. Have a folder a half inch thick with receipts that will come with the truck that documents all purchases. Total for what receipts I have in the folder is just over $8,000. The reserve is being set well under this investment. Engine Built SBC 350 (Street Motor but built with all the good stuff) - "previous owner claimed approx 400hp but don't have any documentation of this claim but based on the parts listed below I do believe him" GM Performance Fast Burn Aluminum Heads (cost $2,000) - http://www.jegs.com/i/Chevrolet-Performance/809/19300955K/10002/-1?parentProductId=749898 Screw in Studs and guide plates Roller rockers Flat top pistons Air Gap Aluminum Intake All ARP fasteners were used in assembly (receipt documentation) Holly 650 Carb (slight hesitation when revving the engine, could use a little tuning) Dual Electric OLD AIR Products Fans (1 Thermostat controlled) Big 4 core radiator (doesn't get hot and can run all day long) Chrome Doug Thorley Headers w/Dual Flowmaster exhaust Power Brakes - newer booster, newer calipers, pad, master cylinder Power Steering - steers like a dream Overall Strong engine that seems to have a lot of power, no smoking, no noises. Transmission Old School 3 speed on the column New performance clutch - I believe its a McLeod is what the receipt says, doesn't Engine and Clutch combo probably only have about 5,000 miles on them, if that much. Older build but hardly driven Body Older Restoration with Thousands $$$ spent At time of restoration: - Floors replaced - Front clip sheet metal replaced (couldn't find receipt so didn't include this in $8,000 total but this purchase was at least another $1,000 on top. - Bottom of doors replaced with metal - Grill replaced (still excellent condition) - inside and outside rockers replaced at time of resto - Front bumper replaced (still excellent condition) - Rear bumper replaced (still excellent condition) - Windshield and rubbers replaced at time of resto. - Sliding rear window installed with new rubbers at time of resto. - Brand new gas tank with sending unit installed 6 months ago. Current condition of body - Paint shines pretty good, two tone maroon and black scheme. - Body is very straight with no dents, dings, or waves. - At time of restoration body rust was repaired with new panels or metal patches no filler and then whole truck was block sanded. - truck was always garaged and then due to lack of room was left outside and rust is starting to pop-up. - needs tailgate replacement (has rust - see pics) - quarter panels have little to no rust (few small spot size of a coin) - Doors are still pretty solid but have few small spots coming out and where metal was replaced at bottoms is separating a little at the seem. - Hood could use some body work as it has some rust across the front edge - little bit of rust at bottom of fenders - bed has some rust inside the bed where bed floor meets the inner wheel wells. - Top of drip edge at front window has some rust coming out and at some point during resto the drip edge was filled. - Inside of front window and back window where its common for rust, it has none (see pictures) Interior - Seat was re-upholstered in a stock pattern - New OEM Dashpad purchased from Chevrolet dealer - Aftermarket autometer triple gauge (fuel, oil, battery) - fuel currently disconnected but fuel gauge in factory dash works - Windows all roll up and down easily Overall this is a very solid truck that runs and drives great and is super reliable. You can tell driving this truck that money was spent and time was taken to put this thing together properly. It feels solid, those of you that work on your own classics know what I mean. Drive truck as-is and fix up to your liking, make a sweet sounding shop truck or pull engine for your custom project. Your buying the truck for half of what I have documented receipts totaling. Total investment in this truck is likely in the $12,000 range. I have plenty of pics and can take as many more as you would like. Please call me or email me for additional pictures and or questions. Here is a link to a video so you can hear the engine running http://youtu.be/0urHQS4oPLE http://youtu.be/Tgw0v9jOKZ8 Open to trades just let me know what you have. 9five4.two58.1eight2zero radskate360ataoldotcom
