This vehicle belongs to my son's best friend, it was his dream-truck purchased by him and his parents after many summers of hard work. While parked on a hill behind his house, it jumped out of gear and rolled into a tree, striking the drivers front apron. The truck was just serviced and was meticulously maintained. The collision was just enough to total the vehicle, but the 7.3 L Powerstroke turbo diesel survived unscathed, along with many other parts of the truck. The tires and wheels on the truck are for sale separately if desired. This auction includes the stock wheels and tires that came with the truck. Many good parts still exist on this vehicle, such as motor, fender, doors, bed, roof and entire interior. Reference the pics provided and you will see that this was the very desirable 02 F-250 model with 4WD and 7.3 Liter Powerstroke Turbo-diesel. Many bids have been made for the engine alone, but we are auctioning the truck as a whole at this time. You may pick-up or delivery can be arranged at an additional fee by a certified, insured carrier. We understand that we will not recover anywhere close to what was spent on this truck, but we are trying to get as much as we can to put towards getting my son's friend a decent vehicle for college because there was no insurance at the time of the accident.
