1972 CHEVROLET K5 BLAZER WITH THE CST OPTION. THIS BLAZER IS A EXTREMELY SOLID TRUCK. IT WOULD MAKE A EASY CANDIDATE TO RESTORE OR LEAVE AS IT IS. IT HAS A SMALL LIFT WITH 99% PERCENT TREAD ON 33X12.50X15 BF GOODRICH ALL TERRAIN KO TIRES ON FACTORY RALLY WHEELS. I DO NOT HAVE ANY HISTORY ON THE ENGINE/TRANSMISSION/TRANSFER CASE BUT IT RUNS GREAT AND DRIVES GREAT. I HAVE DRIVEN IT BETWEEN 65-70 MPH DOWN THE HIGHWAY AND IT DID EXCELLENT. THE ENGINE HAS A BRAND NEW 4BBL CARB (NOT REBUILT.) IT HAS POWER STEERING AND POWER BRAKES. I RECENTLY TOOK IT IN TO A CERTIFIED GM DEALERSHIP AND HAD THEM GO THROUGH THE VEHICLE AND HAD THE FRONT AXLE SHAFT U JOINTS, VALVE COVER GASKETS REPLACED AND OIL/FILTER CHANGE. IT DOES DRIP SOME TRANSMISSION FLUID. I DID NOT HAVE THAT FIXED BECAUSE IT DID NOT BOTHER ME. AGAIN, IT DOES LEAK A LITTLE FLUID SO THAT MAY NEED TO BE ADDRESSED IF THAT IS OF CONCERN. THIS VEHICLE HAS VERY LITTLE RUST. I TOOK A MAGNET TO EVERY INCH OF THE VEHICLE WHEN I PURCHASED IT. THE ONLY TWO SMALL SPOTS THAT THE MAGNET DID NOT COMPLETELY STICK WAS AT THE BOTTOM REAR CORNER OF THE DRIVER AND PASSENGER DOOR. THE DRIVER'S ROCKER HAS ABOUT A PENNY AND DIME SPOT OF RUST TOWARDS THE FRONT OF THE ROCKER. THIS IS NOT THROUGH THE ROCKER SO SHOULD BE A EASY REPAIR. I POINTED TO IT IN THE PICTURE. THE AREAS BEHIND ARE JUST CHIPS IN THE PAINT FROM ENTERING AND EXITING THE VEHICLE. BOTH INNER FENDERS ON THE VERY FRONT BOTTOM SIDE HAVE HOLES WHICH IS A EASY FIX. THE PASSENGER DOOR TOWARDS THE BOTTOM HAS A MINOR SPOT AS WELL ON THE INSIDE. IF I HAD TO PUT A PERCENTAGE OF RUST ON THE BLAZER, I WOULD SAY IT IS 90% RUST FREE BUT THAT IS MY ESTIMATE AND JUST WANT TO BE HONEST. I WILL ANSWER AND PROVIDE ANY PICTURES TO INTERESTED BUYERS. BOTH BOXES THAT ARE ON THE BOTTOM OF THE BLAZER UNDER THE SEATS HAVE BEEN PATCHED AND HAD PLANS TO CLEAN THAT UP AS WELL. THE PAINT IS A MEDIUM BLUE. IT LOOKS TO HAVE BEEN REPAINTED SOME TIME AGO. IT IS VERY PRESENTABLE BUT NOT A SHOW JOB BY ANY MEANS! THERE IS A SPOT ON THE HOOD AND DRIVERS FENDER THAT HAS SOME OXIDATION. I HAVE NOT BUFFED IT OUT BUT PUT WAX ON IT. IT WENT AWAY AND RE APPEARED A WEEK LATER. THERE ARE A COUPLE SPOTS WHERE THE PAINT HAS CRACKED BUT THEY ARE VERY SMALL AREAS. ONE IS APPROX 4 INCHES LONG BY 2 INCHES HIGH ON THE SIDE OF THE HOOD AND THE OTHER ARE TWO CRACKS ABOUT 2 INCHES LONG TOWARDS THE REAR. THERE ARE SOME NICKS IN THE PAINT AROUND THE BLAZER AS WELL BUT VERY MINIMAL. I DID NOT GET TOUCH UP PAINT TO TRY AND HIDE. I ALSO HAVE THE DRIVERS SIDE K5 BLAZER EMBLEM THAT WILL GO WITH THE VEHICLE. THE INTERIOR HAS LATE 90'S GM TRUCK POWER CLOTH SEATS. THE POWER IS HOOKED UP AND THE SEATS DO GO FORWARDS AND BACKWARDS WITH THE FACTORY SWITCH. THE REAR SEAT IS ALSO A LATER MODEL GM 3RD ROW LEATHER SEAT THAT WAS INSTALLED BECAUSE THE PREVIOUS OWNER HAD CHILDREN AND WANTED THE SHOULDER BELTS. THERE IS ALSO A PLATE THAT HAS BEEN WELDED TO THE REAR FLOOR AREA I WAS TOLD TO MOUNT THE REAR SEAT. THEY ARE VERY STOUT AND TASTEFULLY DONE. I HAD PLANS TO HAVE BOTH THE FRONT AND REAR SEATS RE DONE IN A BLACK VINYL. THERE IS ALSO A GREY INTERIOR FLOOR LINER (BRAND UNKNOWN) THAT WAS DONE AT THAT TIME. THE DASH IS ORIGINAL UNCUT WITH FACTORY AIR VENTS, LATER MODEL CHEVROLET STEERING WHEEL AND THE FACTORY RADIO. ALL THE FACTORY AIR CONDITIONING PARTS ARE THERE BUT DOES NOT BLOW COLD. I THINK IT IS JUST THE COMPRESSOR THAT NEEDS REPLACED. THE RADIO LIGHT DOES TURN ON BUT THERE ARE NO SPEAKERS IN THE BLAZER SO I CAN'T VERIFY IF IT DOES ACTUALLY WORK. I JUST THOUGHT IT WAS COOL HAVING THE DASH THE WAY IT IS UNCUT. THE DASH APPEARS TO HAVE THE ORIGINAL PAINT. AGAIN, THE EXTERIOR HAS BEEN REPAINTED AT SOME POINT AND IT MAY BE A SHADE DARKER THAN FACTORY MEDIUM BLUE. THE REMOVABLE HARD TOP IS THE DOUBLE WALL TOP. I HAVE THE CHROME LATCH HANDLE FOR THE TOP BUT IT IS NOT INSTALLED. THERE ARE A COUPLE NICKS IN THE TOP BUT OVERALL IN GOOD SHAPE. THE WINDOWS ROLL UP AND DOWN AS THEY SHOULD. ALL THE GLASS IS GOOD ON THE BLAZER. I HAVE ANOTHER 72 BLAZER THAT HAS A LARGER LIFT AND 37" TIRES AND PURCHASED THIS BLAZER BECAUSE OF THE CONDITION AND WANTED MORE OF A STOCK BLAZER. UNFORTUNATELY PLANS HAVE CHANGED AND WILL NOT HAVE THE TIME TO BE ABLE TO ENJOY IT. AGAIN, THIS IS NOT A FULLY RESTORED K5 BLAZER.
