1962 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Spider Veloce. Matching Number A true barn find, I am a collector and I purchased this car in 2010 in Belgium. The car was originally sold in the USA but the owner brought it to Belgium in the 70’s. The car was painted only one time and has very little body filler. Someone filled in the holes for the eyebrow moldings and used a bit of filler but the rest of the car has little to no filler. There are no dents on the car and no crash damage. The car needs front and rear floor pans but requires no other welding. I took detailed pictures of the floor pans. The rear truck compartment is near perfect with no rust. The car had the top frame but no top so I imagine the floors rusted due to water on the floor. I have proof from the Alfa Romeo Historical office that this is a real matching number veloce. This is an easy restoration and a complete car. The only missing part that I can see is the air box and they are available for about $500.00 new, I have the grill but the car is missing the eyebrow molding on the nose which are also available for about $500.00. These cars are very rare and are rated as one of the best investment cars available. Very few Veloce’s were produced and still alive with matching numbers. This car properly restored can fetch over $150,000 and rising. I simply want to enjoy the cars I have and spend my time driving them instead of restoring them.
