Up for auction is a very original and correct 70 Cuda AAR. This car has been with the same owner from 1983 to 2014. Being in Colorado that entire time, it is a very dry car. This Cuda was fully restored a while ago and has held up very well. It is a real FC7 Plum Crazy car with its original fender tag. The engine is not the original but is a dated 1970 Trans AM correct engine, with the correct heads and intake/carbs. The transmission I believe is the original. All of the mechanical components of this car have been professionally rebuilt to factory specs. The suspension and brake system are rebuilt and have nice drivability. The underside of this car is very nice and solid with NO RUST. It is not highly detailed, but it looks clean and is not too nice to drive and enjoy. Under the hood is nicely detailed and looks great. With no leaks or mechanical issues its ready for the local car show. The paint and body on this car is nice. It has been wet sanded and polished to a mirror shine. There is one very small spot where the paint has bubbled, but everything else is nice. All of the glass is nice and the side glass rolls up and down well. The stainless trim and chrome bumpers are all very nice and show well. The interior is partially original and very nice. It has a bench seat and column shift which is really rare on AAR's. The dash and gauges look great and all work as expected. With the odometer reading 94,496 miles, this car is still relatively low miles and it shows throughout. Inside the trunk is clean and retains the spare and original jack. If you are looking for a real AAR Cuda that is affordable and ready to enjoy, then this is the car for you.
