This is my beloved Jeep CJ5. I am reluctant to sell but I have found myself working outside of town more and more. The Jeep is not my primary vehicle but I need a back up vehicle. The Jeep has the original Iron Duke 4 cyl. It runs fine on flat roads or minimal hills and will comfortably run 55 to 65 MPH. That being said, the mountains around here tend to drop me down to 45 MPH. If it does not sell I will rebuild the engine and get a little more power from it. I would like to find something with a little more room and power to take the family out. I set the Jeep up for hunting and running the desert trails and getting me home safe. She uses a little oil now and smokes a little on first start up if it has been setting a long time. The Jeep has 2 areas with very minor rust bubbles, the right front fender and the left front corner of the tub. Both spots are very easy fixes and have been photographed for your inspection. No rust in the floors! The windshield had a cover on the frame at one point to prevent debris from breaking the glass. As a result there are screw holes from the snaps around the frame, no rust issues. New ball joints on the right front end. One failed and I replaced the upper and lower. The Jeep drives very nice and smooth. No shakes or wobbles. It has a little play in the steering but is better than most old CJ's The Jeep has very minor dents here and there but it is not beat up at all. The body is better than most newer cars and if someone wanted to make a very nice project this is it. I never painted it because it would just get scratched up in the brush. 2.5 4 Cyl with Webber Carb. Borg Warner 4 speed with newer clutch. AMC 20 rear with 1 piece alloy axles 3.73 gears, Spartan Locker and heavy duty diff cover. Dana 30 with Mile Marker hubs, 3.73 gears, Spartan Locker and heavy duty diff cover. Factory disc breaks. Dana 300 transfer case with twin stick conversion. Newer top with a couple minor imperfections from use. Bikini top. 8k Smittybilt Winch. Brackets professionally welded to the frame to allow the use of a late model winch plate. 30x9.50x15 BFG AT Tires with tons of tread on black Rock Crawler type wheels. Custom rear bumper and tire rack. The rack is welded to the bumper to prevent a rattle. New windshield. Seats all replaced approximately 2 years ago. CB Radio CD player does not work. Lights all work with the exception of the water temp light. Needs a bulb. Gauges all work except the Amp gauge. Gun Rack mounted to the rear floor. Includes fender flares, new taillights and guards, some spare parts. This Jeep is a used vehicle and does not include a warranty. Its 33 years old! It is better than most and has been a very reliable vehicle for me. That being said, it may not last or be as reliable depending on how it is used. I really don't care if it sells but will not hide any facts from anyone about it. Buyer must pay $500 deposit immediately. Balance due within the week. I will assist in arranging the shipping but all funds must clear prior to the vehicle being removed.from my property. The Jeep is in my name and currently insured.
