1958 Chevrolet Impala 2dr Coupe w/ 409 QB Engine Runs & Drives Road Ready................This car has been restored to road ready condition some years back and maintained as such with very little mileage put on it the last few years. The paint job shows some small scrapes and scratches but nothing highly distracting, there are also some small granulations in some areas on paint, Also the trunk and hood both have a spot that needs scuffed and buffed. The chrome looks to be in mostly original condition and the front fender tops and window top mouldings show some spotting. The two front vent window glass pieces show some delamination on edges of glass. All other glass looks 100% good. Windows including rear 1/4 go up and down well with manual cranks, door handles function. The interior and carpet are all in nice condition. Dash is original cluster and gauges but aftermarket gauges have been added on bottom of dash and an aftermarket radio when new motor was installed. Horn Ring needs replaced as it is broken. The front bumper does have a gouge front center of the top that will take some work to try and blend in chrome. Has a 409 engine installed in place of the original. The 409 Block stamping on front pad is TTT24QB . this is a 409 HP block and the head castings are 3819333 with codes of 156 on LH and 135 on RH. I believe these are truck heads and a truck intake put on a car block when they rebuilt the engine. We do not know engine bore or specs internally. An electric cooling fan was added when the engine was put in.
