Vehicle Detail
For sale is a 1972 Chevelle Concours Wagon that I was building into a 1970 SS 454 wagon clone. Options on the car include ps, p-disc brakes, ac, remote mirror, pass side mirror, door edge guards, rear defrost, power rear window, dual action tailgate, am radio, rear (window) spoiler, 17 inch American racing wheels w/recent tires, tired 454 4 bolt engine, 700R4 automatic w/overdrive, headers, aluminum intake, holley carb, HEI. When purchased this car had been sitting since 1998, and I worked on it just enough to were it will run around the yard, brakes have been done, but engine has a skip so it will need some work done on it. I did put on a new starter, cables, some hoses, and changed the fluids. it does have the correct 4 core radiator, fan and shroud. engine starts easily, no noises, and the more I have run it the better it seems to run. Main things it still needs are a windshield (rock chip, so I left the trim and wipers off), rear bumper needs to be rechromed, front seat cover and a drivers door panel. (I tried to order them from PUI but they are on back-order) and engine worked on. Dash pad is perfect, headliner is perfect, and the original AM radio is still in the uncut dash. Body was very solid before it was recently painted. Prior to being painted the Body looked to still be in original paint (doors back) except for some work that was done on the pass rear quarter panel (I have pics). It has a new SS cowl hood, pass fender, grill, SS parking lights, hood pins, some stainless. I bought another Wagon so its time to let this one go, I think this would make an easy winter project with hard work nearly done and just some of the easier stuff left to do. I have most of the AC parts (shown) and they come with the car. This car is from Alabama and has never had a title, (Alabama started titles in 75) so will be sold with a bill of sale. Email with any questions. Thanks!
