Vehicle Detail
2 owner Car, purchased in 2006 from lady who specially ordered. She said it was one of the last S6's shipped into US. Never any accidents or body work, always garaged, Original Paint is bright and shinny, with very few scratches or dings. Wheels are still perfect and true. Interior is near perfect with NO tears or wear marks. I have owned the car for 8 years, only driven in winters, have 325I convertible to drive in summers. 2013 installed cross drilled slotted brakes all wheels, front and rear calipers. Master Brake and Clutch cylinders, yes they are the larger sized units installed at production end. Decent tires with 15K tread left. Drives straight and tight. I have every original receipts from 1st owner, including window sticker showing car was purchased for $48,000. I have taken care of this car, I love it but recent events force me to sell it. We have found that the fuel lines are leaking (see pictures) and need replacement, they cannot be patched effectively or safely. To do so exhaust may need to be removed and that will force new exhaust to be installed. Jim Ellis has 3 fuel lines assembly for $350 listed and www.034Motorsport.com had exhaust from Turbo back for $1700. Presently I do not have the money or expertise to do the job myself, I have decided to sell it. This my second S6, the last one went 265,000 miles without issues. So if you have resources to replace lines and change exhaust you will have a great car, you know that. I'm tired at this point and need to move on. Everything works inside that is important, car rides and performs as it always did. Exhaust is rusty but tight. Car can be driven short distances, depending should leaks become larger. Car is being auctioned as is, no returns or guarantees. Good luck to all bidders who will attempt to take this auto back to glory. Otherwise someone who needs parts here is your chance. On Dec-11-14 at 04:52:13 PST, seller added the following information: Terms of Sale:I expect $1,000 non-refundable deposit to be promptly paid within 48 HRS of auction close, Paypal Account is best for me.Title and auto will not be released until such time as final payment clears my account.Should winning bidder fail to meet the timelines car will be offered to the next highest bidder. My only negative comment in my profile is from a fella who bought my 911S Targa last year and reneged from deal (no deposit provided).I offered car to next fella in London and now its closer to home. That made me arrogant FYI.I expect we all want to play with the same rules.
