Vehicle Detail

Here is a 2006 BMW M5. Alpine white over black leather interior. Fully loaded with everything. Cost 100g new. 500 HP V10 SMG Transmission. I work for the insurance company and bought this car from them as part of a package deal almost two years ago. Since then, the car has been sitting in my garage. I never had it running. Right after I bought the car, I towed it to the BMW dealership for a complete inspection to see what the car needs. Turns out it needs the SMG modular and the DME modular to run again. Both modulars were removed before I bought the car. I have no idea why they were removed. Everything else in the car works, the lights, the power options, the nav screen, the dash lights, the power windows, seats, sunroof, ect. The dealer gave me a price of 2700 to get the car running again. I have the repair order. That includes both new modulars and installing them. Also, the back mufflers were removed. Again, I do not know why. Everything else is there. The body, original paint and interior are all in very good condition. There is a small area on the roof that is dented, you will see this in the photos, the rest of the body is fine. The car is sold with a New York 907A salvage certificate so you will need to have the car reinspected by your DMV once you fix the car in order to be issued a new title. The certificate says water, however, when the BMW dealer inspected the car, they found no signs of water damage anywhere. None. Again, I wish I had an answer for that too but I do not. If you do not understand what a 907A paper is, please do your homework before you bid. I can not be any more honest as I am being with this car. I do not know any other history about the car or why the car was really issued a salvage paper. Note, only serious ready to buy Ebay bidders with good feedback please. It takes time and money to run an auction. My feedback has always been 100% since I signed up on Ebay well over 10 years ago which says alot. If you are new to Ebay or, if you have little to zero feedback or have canceled your bids on items in the past, send me an email before you bid so I know you are serious. If you bid and win, you pay for the car. Bid what you feel is fair. My reserve is so low on this car, it's pittyful. I would like to keep the car and someday fix it but the normal stuff always seems to get in the way like paying the bills, ect. If you have any questions at all about the car or, if you would like to come inspect the car for yourself, just let me know. You are welcome to bring your BMW service man to inspect the car. Aside from the repairs it needs, this is a very nice car! Just look at the photos. The car looks even better in person. Thank you for your interest. On Nov-26-14 at 15:01:32 PST, seller added the following information: If anyone would like to know the reserve, just ask me and I will tell you. However, I do not have a buy it now price in the auction. Again, there are no secrets here. I am pretty sure my reserve is lower than any other V10 M5 ever on the market in any condition. This is one nice M5 for the money. The bidders will tell us what the car is worth. Enjoy the Holiday weekend everyone! On Nov-29-14 at 07:54:09 PST, seller added the following information: Please read the listing in full and make sure you understand everything I spoke about before you place your bid. Also, if you have a question, just send me an email before you bid.
