The engine is fine and still powerful, but the car will not shift out of first gear. The mechanic said it could be the computer or something minor. He said he doesn’t believe it’s the transmission because if it were, the transmission would either slip, or the car would not move at all. Instead, the car appears to be in “safe’ mode. The car will also need brakes, but no other issues noted. The interior is in average condition. The seats have several rips, but the rest of the interior looks pretty good. The exterior is also average condition with a few scuffs and dings. Overall, not bad car that could turn out to be an easy fix. Even if not, it could be used for parts.
