Vehicle Detail

In my opinion this diesel is in good condition. Installed in 2005 but hardly used as follows: All 4 Progressive springs, Boge struts & shocks, Febi strut bearings, brakes and rotors, starter, water pump, timing belt w/tensioners, both front axles, glow plugs, spindle bearings and wheel bearings, 4 tires. I brought this rabbit home from Nashville Tennessee in 2005, I then went to work on it and made it handle just as good as my 1984 VW GTIs (I've own 3), This car travels sweet down the most challenging bumpy roads. I've put 11,000 miles on it in 9 years and am now selling it in order to free up some room. The original clock works great. Battery new this year 2014. Please note - this will need a clutch job in the near future but works fine for now, it lets out at the top but hasn't slipped yet. Air Cond does not hold a charge. It starts so fast, you can't even hear the starter and doesn't smoke. All the gauges, overhead light, dash lights, wipers front/rear, blower motor, signal lights, horn work as they should. The 5-speed transmission shifts smooth and I did replace a few linkages/bushing in 2005 as well. This car is not new, the silver paint has been in spider mode a number of years. Some areas of rust from stone chips and weld joints have not changed in my 9 years of ownership. It never gets driven in the winter months. For Sale locally, if it sells I will pull the listing. On Nov-23-14 at 10:21:47 PST, seller added the following information: My number is 269 861-1966 - I'm sure you have questionsOn Nov-24-14 at 15:51:18 PST, seller added the following information: I've received a few questions from paint to interior to drive train - so here is my summation - and to all keep the questions coming and thank you for bidding. There are a few swirls in the paint that's all; this car has always been garaged. I've noticed this paint condition on some other silver Rabbits as well. I will try and capture it on a photo and post it. In my description I'm being very critical; as far as I'm concerned, it is my biased opinion this Rabbit will far exceed the buyer’s expectations. It’s got the German Head, not Brazil junk, it starts in -5F without the block heater plugged in. It can accelerate like a gas job but always delivers 45-50 mpg. The interior looks feels and smells new. It's a Baja Bunny in disguise and has taken on the Riverside Ridge Running like a paved high way. She's a runner, buy a radar detector because your gonna need it.On Nov-29-14 at 08:11:47 PST, seller added the following information: Added a few close ups.
