As with most HUMMERS of this vintage, the 6.5 diesel engine has been replaced, and THIS TRUCK IS BEING SOLD TMU or TRUE MILEAGE UNKNOWN. It is believed that the odometer was replaced at the time of the engine replacement. The 6.5 liter Turbo Diesel V8 provides all the power you'll ever need - and then some. Together with superlative ground clearance, a unique traction control system and 4-wheel drive, this ultimate off-road warrior fears no terrain. (Its pretty formidable looking on the road as well). This one comes with all the good stuff: The 6.5 liter diesel, trailer towing package, a brush guard, winch, power pack with cruise control, rear view mirror with compass, and a lot more. It has the original Monsoon audio system with cassette player and CD changer. This Hummer is also equipped from the factory with the CTIS (central tire inflation system), but the aftermarket wheels and tires on the vehicle are not compatible with the system. By the way, those 18" black "Moto Metal" wheels look great on this Hummer! Quality aftermarket improvements include the large basket-style roof rack, custom wheels, and the auxiliary lamps. The original AM General Hummer is getting harder and harder to find, so you probably shouldn't wait much longer if you want one.
