Original 1977 Honda CR125M Elsinore I have decided to reduce my collection of 125cc racers so up for auction is my original 1977 Honda CR125M from my private collection. The bike has been on display indoors since I purchased it. In order to prepare the bike for sale, it was fueled, started, and ridden a short distance to make sure everything was in working order before the bike goes to the new owner. I hope this bike will go to a collector for display and not be ridden or raced as it is a preserved piece of history. The bike was acquired through a trade with a collector in Alabama several years ago. The original intention was to restore this bike to match the condition of my 74 CR125 (also listed on ebay), but once I received the bike it was in such good condition, I decided to leave it original. Engine was completely rebuilt with a fresh bore, new piston, rings, bearings, seals, carb rebuild, clutch, etc ( All Honda parts). The only items not original to the bike are the engine internals, grips (they should be red and can be purchased from RE-MX) and spark plug boot. Tires are original Bridgestones (rear tire is worn), exhaust is original (dent on back side of muffler attachment), all original plastic and paint. Tank has a shallow dent on right side (see pictures). The bike is being sold as an unrestored original so there are imperfections, please review the pictures carefully.
