PURCHASER TO RECEIVE: 1968 Corvette 427ci big block 390 horsepower numbers matching car. We have a clear Ohio title on this car. This car has the actual born engine, transmission, and rear end along with most of the other parts of the car are born to the car. We have a signed statement from the prior owning attesting that the engine, trans, and rear end are authentic (the real deal installed by GM in the 1960's NOT parts from another car). This car sat in building for years undisturbed before we acquired it. The car has original Rally Red faded paint. We have installed new brake master cylinder and two new front calipers along with a new fuel tank, fuel pump, and sending unit and ignition points to get the car to run, drive, and brake. The car can be left running as long as one likes without over heating and driven down the road. Transmission functions in both drive and reverse. Head lights and tail lights are functional. T-tops install and remove as they should and power windows and power steering are functional. We have installed fuel line from the new fuel take to the fuel pump that is not original. The Corvette frame is rusted. Doors behind door panels are rusted and other more minor rust on other areas of the car exist. We are including AT NO ADDITIONAL COST TO THE PURCHASER a restored rust free frame that has been sandblasted and painted. Car requires battery charger at times to start. Both the VIN and trim plate are on the body of the car and NOT the frame so changing out the frame will not negatively impact the value of this car, only increase it. These car's sell for as much as $50,000 fully restored and should continue to rise in value in the future. Other positives to this car are: Car appears to have the true original window glass, seats, gauges and cluster, dash pad, carpet in good condition for its age. The engine looks to have authentic original water pump, pwr steering pump, exhaust manifolds, valve covers and more. The radiator, shroud, pulleys air cleaner are fully functional and look to be correct in appearance. The air cleaner has authentic GM AC Delco silk screening and engine has original tach drive distributor. The car does have authentic GM Corvette chrome ignition shielding and braided plug wires along with authentic GM (not reproduction) 427 390hp C3 Corvette hood. These original GM 427 L36 hoods alone are listed for sale on Ebay between $1500 and $2000 so a person could likely part out this car and get more out of it than what we are asking for it!
