Vehicle Detail

I am selling my 2000 Suzuki Bandit 1200s. I am the second owner, and I am 51. The first owner was older than me. The bike has never been beat on, done wheelies, stoppies, or other tricks. It was bought as a leftover in 2002 at Mt Holly Honda Suzuki, so as per New Jersey law, the title says 2002, but the bike is a 2000 model. It sat for nearly two years with stabil in the gas and me occasionally starting it, but the gas went bad so just changed it. It has a slight hesitation at around 3000 rpms, and carbs need to be cleaned. The bike runs about 500 rpms more with the petcock on prime than it does set to on, so I am sure it needs a fuel screen cleaning too (a brand new petcock is $18 here on ebay, free shipping). The price reflects this! NADA average retail is $2800, low retail is $2100, and that is without factoring in the far below average mileage on this machine. The gel battery is only a year old, the chain is almost new ($169.00 super premium) and the newer (@3000 miles) Metzler tires and EBC brakes are a huge improvement over stock. The FMF slip on matches the bike perfectly. I asked Trapani's to put a jet kit in when I bought the pipe, but they said they could get it right just opening up the carbs. Stock exhaust included. Look around and try to find a better deal. Local Pickup only!!! The bike runs real good, so if you bought it and put your plates on it, you can ride it home. The bike is being relisted due to a first time ebayer who felt the ebay process meant he had first shot to buy the bike, not that by bidding he was entering into a contract to buy. His comment was, and I quote, " I already have a 1997 Bandit that needs carb work.(cleaning) I don't want to have two." But the bike sure did run good when, without asking, he jumped on it when I started it and rode it nearly 5 miles!!! Was I not clear about dirty carbs in both the subtitle and listing? For that reason, any bidders with less than 5 feedback must contact me before bidding, and no more guys who just want to take someone's bike for a long ride! Please note that the bike has about 5 more miles than the photo and the listing due to the non paying bidder.
