Here's a 1998 Subaru Outback with mechanical issues. The starter will not turn with the key, but will turn when jumped directly from the battery. The engine still does not start. When I purchased the car, I was told that it had a blown head gasket but was not overheating, just running rough. There is evidence of a "pour in fix" around the cap of the radiator. The mechanical condition of the rest of the car is unknown and the car has been sitting for at least 3 years. The body is in above average condition with rust on the bottom of the passenger front door. This car, in my opinion, is worth saving due to the good body and the low miles. Clear title in hand and the 148,xxx miles are believed to be accurate. I did purchase another Subaru with the 2.2 and dual port exhaust to use as a donor car for this one. It is currently available in another auction. Too many projects and not enough time. Unless other arrangements are made before placing your bid, there is a $100.00 deposit due within 24 hours of the end of sale. Full payment and removal within 10 days of end of sale.
