I am selling a 1983 Zimmer Golden Spirit (Ford running gear) I found in a heated storage facility where is has sat since approximately 2000. The owner passed away and his wife has decided to clean out the barn. The car has the original Recaro interior and is powered by a Ford 5.0 HO 4V with an auto transmission and I believe an 8.8 rear end. Car is loaded with features, which came standard on these rare cars. The car makes absolutely no abnormal noises at all. The starter positive wire needs replacing as it is worn or cracked somewhere between the starter and the solenoid impeding starter engagement. When started, car runs and drives very nice and it is very comfortable. I do have the inner grill even though it is not pictured but I do not have the chrome outer decorative shell. The car is all original with low miles of 45,553. The tires are dry rotted and the fronts only hold air for a day. Trunk lock needs to be repaired as it does not open the trunk. Air horn assemblies are present as well as all fog and driving lights. This is a 99.9% complete car. Look closely at the photos as this is what you are bidding on.
