Item has been relisted due to high-bidder not providing funds. Up for sale is this 1971 Fiat 124 Spider Roadster. This car is in amazing shape for a 43 year old Italian sports car! When I purchased this car, it had been sitting since 1986, it was last licensed then and hasn't been driven since then. It has spent the last 28 years in a dusty barn in West Texas protected from the snow and rain. The car is almost entirely complete, the drivetrain is intact and the interior is totally there. The motor reportedly ran just a few years ago and still turns over but I have not tried to start it myself. There is some minimal rust like most of these cars have, but as you can see in the photos, the floors and body are remarkably straight and solid! The only items I can say are missing that I can see are: the rear trunk emblem, and the passenger front turn lens; there may be more things missing or wrong, but I'm not an expert on these cars. The top is complete and functions, it's material is just faded and shredded. Windshield is cracked on the passenger-side. This car is an excellent candidate for restoration to original status or could easily be turned into a rally/road course race car. You don't come across these early-generation Fiat Spiders very often, and seldom are they this clean, straight, and complete! I am more than willing to answer any questions.
