This number matching vintage BMW is an older restoration (2001). It is complete and runs well. Over the last couple of years some maintenance has been performed such as oil changes for transmission, final drive and engine. Valves have been adjusted. Carburetors were replaced with refurbished originals. Hella style blinkers were installed. Fuel tap replaced. After market side stand installed. New tires (Dunlop) this year. New throttle, brake, clutch levers and cables. Bike runs reliably and starts easily. This bike will only appreciate in value and is quite rare on this side of the pond as well as in Europe. The bike is not a perfect show queen and shows some marks in the paint from normal use. The striping is tape. Mileage shown is not the actual, actual mileage is unknown. All lights and horn work. Compression is 90 on the left and 100 on the right. Clutch separates well. Transmission shifts all 4 gears normally. Final drive has some, but normal play (backlash), no noises. Brakes work quite well for the year. There is no rust to speak of, spokes and rims look great. Tank is clean. Right front shock leaks slightly. The bike will be on display in our showroom. Warranty expired many years ago, so there is none offered. Shipping is your responsibility but we can assist with getting the bike to your broker within a 150 km radius at a nominal cost.
