This is a 1978 Datsun 280Z full injected project. My son got the car and the plan was to make it a safe car to go back and forth to school with. He quickly lots interest and it has been in my garage for three years now. I replaced all suspension bushings as the old ones were rotted out. I replace the all bushing front/ rear with Prothane bushings kit. I replaced trans mount, trans cross member bushings, plugs, cap/ rotor, wires, output shaft seal, all fluids, including manual gear box with slick 50, rear fluid w/ new seal, ball joints, strut bellows, all struts, brakes including rear cylinders w/ breaded steel lines, front brake pads, tie rod ends, and I have more parts that I just have not gotten to yet. I have an oxygen sensor and head lights as well. I used only good parts on this car. The oil sensor went out and I thought it was the fuel pump so that is new as well. I have not replaced the oil sensor and just last week the exhaust went out and now the car runs a little rough. The car does start and run and interior is all there. This is a cool little car but I’m more a old carburetor guy and all the wires for the fuel injection intimidates me. I really wanted to finish this car but I just have to get on with other projects like my own car. Now that my son has a truck and a girl friend with a car this is just in the way. The car is garage kept and most of its life but the rust is there. Please look at pictures and ask questions. I take pride in my EBay rating so the car does have the Datsun cancer. The rear wheel wells are spotty, the PS fender has a large hole and it goes on. The car needs tires and alignment after all the suspension is new. The car is complete and underbody is good. The will need to be towed as it is running but not driving as it needs to be finished.
