1972 Chevrolet Chevelle with White Super Sport Stripes selling at "No Reserve" These early 70's muscle cars have incredible investment potential, and have been referred to as rolling bank accounts! Well this restoration took a nice sized bank account to turn this sweet Chevelle into what is seen listed in this auction. Close to $50,000 was spent on making this frame-off Blue beauty. I have to say this is one of the nicest cars I've ever listed on eBay. I'm selling this car for a buddy, so all information is to be construed as third party information. To start off with this Chevelle went through a complete frame off restoration, and the undercarriage was detailed in low gloss black. No expense was spared! There is a huge plastic bin full of all the information pamphlets of just about everything that has been replaced on this Chevelle, and will be included with this sale. The interior was all custom done in the two shades of blue, and should be very comfortable for many years to come with a new headliner. When you sit in this car you can feel that everything was done with top quality materials. Inside the glove box is a new JVC remote controlled AM/FM CD player. The body is virtually laser straight and was done in beautiful Chevy Blue with White Super Sport stripes that go from the front of the steel framed simulated cowl induction hood to down the back of the trunk. I can't see anyone being disappointed with this paintwork. I would say that this car is capable of winning many local car shows. There are new front and rear bumpers, all new wheel well opening moldings, and a new chrome side view mirror. All the rubber gaskets have been replaced from the doors, to the windows, to the trunk with new window cranks, and new door handles. In fact I looked the car over and I really couldn't find much of anything that hasn't been replaced. The body has all new bushings, new ball joints, and tie rods. This Chevelle has a professionally built 327 cubic inch engine bored 30 over with all new gaskets, Edelbrock aluminum heads, Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold, and a new Holley carburetor. It has a new high performance competition cam. This engine is fired up by a high performance MSD ignition system with an MSD Pro-Billet high performance distributor. The exhaust has new powder coated headers with 2 1/2 inch pipes, and dual Flowmaster mufflers. The front disc brakes are from Baer Racing including new calipers, and rotors with a new master cylinder from Wildwood. It has a new Grant steering wheel with tilt wheel. There are all new belts, and all new braided hoses with all new Billet pulleys, and a new Billet power steering pump. This Chevelle has a B&M high performance hammer shifter. There is an expensive Be Cool aluminum radiator with dual fans, and a Be Cool vented recovery tank. The washer pump is new from Anco. The horn set-up is from Griot's garage and called German Hella horns. The lower control arms are from Global West suspension systems, and I believe the rest of the suspension is from Energy Suspension. The temperature, pressure, boost, and vacuum gauges are from Auto Meter. There is a new gas tank with new straps, and this baby is all set-up for Nitrous with an Auto Meter nitrous pressure gauge. There is nothing like a shot of NOS to blow the doors off anyone you like! If you look real close at one of the pictures, you can see how the nitrous shoots up with Blue LED lighting. It was during the day when the pictures were shot, but if you see it at night it really looks cool. There is a new sway bar hooked up to the posi traction rear end. There is a set of four B.F. Goodrich Radial T/A raised white lettered steel belted radial tires mounted on shiny Old School Cragar wheels like a blast from the past. What you see is exactly what you get! These mostly complete older classics that have survived for over 40 years are becoming harder and harder to find. These GM A-Body muscle cars are the finest handling cars I have ever driven, and this one starts right up like a new car. It is extremely fast to say the least! This Chevy is for the guy or girl who had one in high school or always wanted one, and maybe they would like to relive their youth. It would be a great car to show up at your high school reunion to prove how cool you still are. I know there are a lot of guys who feel there is no finer muscle car on the planet than the 1970-1972 Chevelle. Here is a prime opportunity to acquire your dream car at a reasonable price.
